Just some weeks ago, Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha forked
out £2million on his Foxes, buying each member of the team a new car.
Ahead of the start of new Bundesliga season, Bayern Munich’s stars have been presented with R8 V10 Audi cars which costs around £120,000 each.
The likes of Thomas Muller, Franck Ribery and Philipp Lahm all received the vehicles as Carlo Ancelotti’s squad signed autographs for fans in Ingolstadt.
Bayern club sponsor Audi have provided every squad member with a new car since 2002, the year they became a shareholder with the German giants. Part of their contract stipulates they provide the squad with company cars with Ancelotti’s men picking up their latest model on Monday afternoon.
